What will your compression be? TR6's are typically a FI plug and would be a bit on the cold side for a mild NA motor IMO. I would go with a TR55 or its iridium counterpart if you are just going to be NA.

Pat most NA setups i put together run a Tr6 unless the compression is in the 9s. Do enough searching and youll see a Tr6 is a good plug to run NA when dealing with pump fuel

The compression will be about 10.6:1 in 93 pump. I have decided against roller rockers, never seriously considered them anyway. I have about made my mind up that im going with the summit trunnion kit.

I actually did a lot on the engine today. Got the front cover and seal on, rear cover, and oil pan. I kinda struggled getting the oil pan on because it was hard to tell if it was in plane to the rest of the block where the bellhousing bolts. Its coming along. The plan is still to have it in maybe the second week of march.

Anymore ideas about spark plugs? I would prefer to run a plug where i can keep it in there for 75k-100k miles.

you should never try and get that many miles from a set of plugs

with said Tr6 gapped at .045 for NA and be done with it

Thanks for the help. I dont know much about plugs except for what heat ranges are and what materials they are made out of. Does the TR6 come in iridium? It was mentioned earlier that iridium TR55's would be a good choice. So does the TR6's come in iriduim as well? If so i think they would be good for mileage.

I just figured his was a standard compression l33, 9.9-1
I don't care to run any colder of a plug then necessary. I also agree if he was mid tens or higher then for sure a TR6. Anyway, either will work fine. I would trust any plug for that high of mileage either, I just run copper and change more frequently.
