My Truck has a bad problem i cant figure out.
Ok lets start with what the truck is its an 88 chevy with a stock 350 tbi. The problem is it has a tough time starting and it idles like ****.It does stuff like dies when i come to a stop and then its impossible to get running again. The strange part is if i unplug the injectors it will fire right up than i plug them back in and the truck will at least run for a minute until it has a death cough at a stop sign and dies than there is no getting the truck running.I would appreciate any and all help.
-Thanks from Alaska.

My 92 with a 350 tbi would start to struggle accelerating when I got on the highway. A fuel filter fixed it every time. I imagine if I let it go much longer I would have had the same problem you are having.
One time it started to struggle accelerating. I pulled into a convenient store and it refused to start up again. I pulled the air cleaner and cracked the throttle by hand. When it was healthy the fuel injectors would spray fuel when opening the throttle by hand. This time it did not. I replaced the fuel pump and that got her running again.
Try replacing the fuel filter. I bet a 6 pack that is your problem. Keep in mind you may be replacing a fuel pump soon as that filter is likely plugged.

I'm not very familier with the obs 5.7's. I would start with a fuel filter like everyone said. Is the service engine light on at all?
Those motors would throw dtc's quickly it seemed like. Kinda odd that it would run with the injectors unplugged.
