Default Mufflers that won't drone

I have a 2014 Sierra with the5.3 and looking for a muffler that won't drone bad when the engine kicks into v4 mode but still has a good sound to it. Also when I get the muffler should the resonator be removed? Possibly looking at magnaflows as well as the corsa db muffler

im also looking, my mbrp is a no go.

I have a 14 5.3 that has arh headers with a 6.2 y pipe with cats for the 3.5 flange with a full 3.5 mbrp and the drone is the worst i have ever heard, it sounds like the windows are goin to blow out and u get a instant headache. The sound outside the truck is great, and exactly what i wanted.

If you want less drone do not remove the resonator.

^^^This is excellent advice. Also, keep muffler case size in mind when making your decision. In general, a larger-case muffler will be less aggressive and produce less noticeable drone. Find the sound that you like and then figure out which muffler will fit your application and meet your requirements.

Install big boombox speakers on the outside of your prius, then play racecar noises.

What about the corsa's because they have a good sound to them for sure but they are a bit pricey

Corsa is the best option for a drone free exhaust. If you plan to keep oem manifolds and y with converters, grt the sport. If you want longtubes and ory, get the touring and add a short bullet style muffler inline.

My hd had the biggest dual in/out muffler magnaflow makes and it sounded very nice with no drone.
