Default Max effort n/a5.3 numbers???

What hp numbers do you think is achievable in a max effort n/a 5.3. It will be put into a drag car/truck no driving on the street at all. What heads would be the best also. Any combos like this already out there? Asking for a friend. Thanks.

Edgar's 5.3 was the most max effort I've seen out of a 5.3.

I can help you out. My 5.3 is still alive and now a friend of mine has it. I made 499 RWHP on a mustang Dyno and that's because I was happy with the numbers and I stopped there. Truck ran a best of 11.0 @ 123 MPH. I used a set of our 243's ported and a Holley hi ram intake.

Reason for n/a is due to the class he runs in.
