Long rods increase the dwell at TDC, which is great for NA. I havent heard much negative about long rods under boost either I guess.

I'll be passing on them however and doing a rod/piston combo from TSP, or a 408 kit from them. Just need to decide how much money I want to spend, and how much power I truly want to make lol.

Can't Wiesco make custom pistons?

Someone has got to be making them already since the bottom ends fit nearly ever ls block.

I am sure they could if I called them. I spent more hours searching for the proper piston than it took me to tear down the motor.

at that point, I gave up. I can sell the rotating assembly to a member who has a good block, and that better offsets the cost of another.

Thank you! But those are cathedral port valve reliefs, not ls3, offset exhaust reliefs.
