We need low end torque, and something that stops making power in the 6000-6400rpm range.

I'd much rather run the LS6 cam in your combo than the LS9. But like e v e r y o n e has said here, there are much better options. Keep an eye on the classified section and the buy sell trade page on facebook and you'll be able to find a 212/218 or triple 12 for what you can buy the LS9 cam for.
How's the triple 12 treating you? I would love to keep my options open just don't wanna pass up on this cam for cheap and not find another one.

I love my cam. Obviously our set up is very different but it is about perfect for my truck. I keep some tq down low and then let the turbo make power up top. If I were you, I'd probably go with something like the 212/218 or 215/215 or the TSP 220 or the 224

There are just so many options that would kick the LS9 cams *** in your truck. Just keep an eye out and you'll find something pretty fast. Post on facebook and in the WTB section.

I mean, I'd love to have a big cam, don't get me wrong, but my dollars come first right now. And go too big a set of GM springs won't handle it anymore so even more money! In the long run I'm gonna go twin screw supercharger. I've been talked out of the Procharger. Is the Triple 12 designed for a turbo or any boost?
