Do you already have the heads? L92's are awfully big for a truck that heavy if you don't have a 6 spd trans and vvt. If it were up to me I would be tunning some mild ported 317 or 243's and a smaller tight lsa cam. 212/218 ish on a 108-110 lsa. For the L92's Id definitely go the thinner gaskets and you are going to be 212/221, 108-110 lsa area. The L92's like more exh duration especially on the smaller cams.

It's pretty good but she drinks oil! Driving about 230 miles cost me a quart of M1 10W30 and that was at 65 mph.

My neighbor at work offered to help me find and install a low miler from a salvage yard in San Antonio. After this trip I may give up the cam and head back to stock, sort of.

I swapped a set of 799's for the l92 heads and intake. I've got to use them, they were practically free!
It seems Lunati puts more exh duration in the ls1/l92 cams.
I'm on the fence on these two

#2nd pick~ Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 212/223 .530"/.549"
LSA/ICL: 112/108 RPM Range: 1600-6200

1st~ Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 217/228 .549"/.566"
LSA/ICL: 112/108
RPM Range: 1800-6400

Yea I would have stuck with the 799's lol.
The smaller one would prob run a little better in there. I did a 215/224, .566/.575, 110 for a 6.0L max truck. Cc 4x4 at 7000' altitude. They were really happy with it. Those have dish pistons.
