Default LM7 vs LC9 Exhaust Manifolds for Turbo?

Hey guys I realize that using one or the other probably won't make much of a difference, but we have a lot of extra parts leftover from my brother's LC9 swap that we did on his 06 Colorado. One of those parts is the exhaust manifolds. Looking at the ports, it looks like the LM7 manifolds block off a big section of the exhaust port! I compared the LM7 manifolds to the LC9 manifolds and the shape is slightly difference, it appears more round. I'm thinking about using it on my 862 heads, anyone have experience with this?

LM7 (862 heads) on top, LC9 (243/799 heads) on bottom:
