Yes. I have sent a few set of heads in and never had to replace the guides. Even the one's I have sent out to richard at WCCH for CNC porting and that guy is by the book!
Every once in a while a few valves on stock rebuild stuff but usually the guides are still good.

WCCH is obviously the go-to for the c6z guys so if they're good enough for them it's good enough for me. I have to put the btr springs so I'll do a wiggle test on each stem while I'm at it. My whole theme for this build is a. stealth and b. keeping the truck on the road.

on the lm7 stock gasket is .051" thick. i would go with the thinner gasket first as it helps with better quench over a full mill to get higher compression.
going from a .051" --> .041" nets about a .2 compression with 62cc chambers
general milling the head .0065" = -1cc
you will want to aim to get around 60.5cc to get that 10:1 compression. although the best option would to get some flat top pistons and some 799/243 heads
