Default Lc9 to ls1 swap questions

A buddy at work has an 2007.5 (newer body) yukon. Motor went bad so he wants to swap it with and ls1 he got. He asked my help since I did lq9 swap into my avy. I feel lost on this trying to prep with info cause I haven't messed with the newer body stuff. I know the reluctor will have to be swapped and converted to dbw but other than that is it drop in like my swap was? I've been digging for info and get dead ends. Any suggestions or info would be awesome

Knock sensors are different, cam and crank sensors are different, front cover, cam gear among other things. It will be more work to try and get everything right. Working around the knock sensor problem can be a headache.

I'd just rebuild the LC9 to save time and money. Swap the cam, replace the lifters and any bearings, clean up the pistons/rings and slap it back together.
