Vette servo. Good with TransGo?
Topic says it all. Im torn between the billets and the plain old vette intermediate. I am in no way looking for something to bark my tires thorugh all gears. I want nice, clean, crisp, quick shifts. The TransGo is goin in regadless. I just can make myself get the billets. HitManX talked with me about them quite a bit. Will the vette servo and TG be a good combination in my 99?? Or should I buck up and buy the billets. I dont tow so do I need the OD??

I dunno then ... If you had the dough, I would get the billet's, if you wanted to save some, I'd go with the vette's. Either way, I'd get both sets. Maybe even a vette intermediate and a billet OD servo.

If I was going to mix them I would do a vetter intermediate and a billet OD servo. The reason behind that is that the vette servo will give it a tamer 1-2 shift, but the 3-4 shift can always use some help.
I would do both billet servos and make the TransGo shift easier.

I've got the TransGo with the Vette servo and I love it. Very crisp shifts under normal driving, then second gear barks WOT! I've never tried the billet setup but my trans tech said that the Vette servo is enough for a street driven car or truck.
