Default Vette servo. Good with TransGo?

Topic says it all. Im torn between the billets and the plain old vette intermediate. I am in no way looking for something to bark my tires thorugh all gears. I want nice, clean, crisp, quick shifts. The TransGo is goin in regadless. I just can make myself get the billets. HitManX talked with me about them quite a bit. Will the vette servo and TG be a good combination in my 99?? Or should I buck up and buy the billets. I dont tow so do I need the OD??

I would go easy on the TransGo kit and put the billets in if it were me.

If you plan on getting a converter, I would definantly get the billets.

The reason I was opting for the TG is due to the fact that it fixes a few things that shoud have been done by GM. I dont think Im gonna get a converter.

I dunno then ... If you had the dough, I would get the billet's, if you wanted to save some, I'd go with the vette's. Either way, I'd get both sets. Maybe even a vette intermediate and a billet OD servo.

I dont really want tire barking shifts. Will the vette and billet OD servo work well with the TG?

If I was going to mix them I would do a vetter intermediate and a billet OD servo. The reason behind that is that the vette servo will give it a tamer 1-2 shift, but the 3-4 shift can always use some help.

I would do both billet servos and make the TransGo shift easier.

I've got the TransGo with the Vette servo and I love it. Very crisp shifts under normal driving, then second gear barks WOT! I've never tried the billet setup but my trans tech said that the Vette servo is enough for a street driven car or truck.

GMC,

Do you have any washers installed with that servo? Im about to order the TG and vette servo..... Which holes did you drill? Normal, HP or Full Race?

Onyx,

Which servo do you already have? You going with the TG and vette servo or billet?
