Help with intake manifold choice
Hope this is in the right section . If not feel free to delete.
So I just bought a 03 silverado scsb .
It has a ls6 swap with cam,243 worked heads and a ported 6.0 intake.
So my question.
I want to change the intake. I have a cowl hood so I'm thinking I can fit the Holley high rise, I seen edelbrock has one and a lsx rt I believe.
What would be the best buy? Any others I should look in to ?
Feel free to post links
Any info would help thanks

Mainly bc I'll be driving it like that most of time .
Yes in the near future I'll have nitrous but that will only be used here and there lol

TBSS/NNBS intake, cheap, makes power over the stock truck one.. I would not run that over priced plastic LSXRT intake.. If your set on a aluminum one I would go holley Hi ram or the edy, but they are costly.

Don't let the people on here discourage your decision about the Fast LSXRT. Some guys on here had bad experiences with it, but many many many more people in the world have had excellent experience with it.
It will require a tune, and probably several idle adjusments after the fact, to get it perfect, but if its done right, you should see significant gains.
I however, don't think spending $2000+ is worth the gain.
Good luck

The truck makes decent power for what is
415 rwhp
Honestly some of it's for looks but I'm always looking for more power.
I read a article were the edelbrock made 39 more hp then the 6.0 intake on engine Dyno.
Tunning won't be a issue. I live about 5 mins from my tunners shop
