Default Help with fuel pump

04 silverado 4.8 fuel pump went out I don't really need the whole assembly just the pump so I need advice on where to get one and if I could get like a direct fit performance one

Right now the truck is tuned and stalled with 4.10s but probably have a cam and more boltons in its future

Walbro make a drop in "performance"unit... That comes assembled and ready to drop in.... Alot of times its the wiring in the module that goes out... If not wiring going to the pump....

Yeah been searching I'm towing it home tomorrow so I can really see what's going on but looks like if it the pump I'll go with the walboro

Also if anyone knows just had a tune done a month ago if the pump was weak do I need to get a retune for the new pump or doesn't it matter

So long as youre regulator is good shouldnt be a problem.... Have you tried the tried and true method of beating on the fuel tank while someone is cranking it?? Could save you a tow bill....
