Default Heater hose connector

well i was replacing the water pump and the connector broke... i need to know how to replace it and what to do. i got some pics just in case you dont know what im talking about.

Default Mine did that bout two months ago

gm makes a special took to remove them... They are plastic fittings with finngers that grab the heater core fitting all the way around. Its a real pain.

You can try using fule line disconnect kits and some force and eventually work them off. It will take some time and effort..

I always use the ac disconnect tool. If you cant get it with that then just cut it off with die grinder and replace with straight heater hose.

You can run to autozone or orilleys they sell a set of white quick disconnects they will work used em quite a few times had no problems, when you go to remove it first shoot some wd40 or pb blaster in the back side of the connector and this will help to get it broken loose.

I cut mine off with a rotozip.

well i went to oreilys and got the connector... its the black one but the label says for inlet or outlet. i put it on but didnt hear a click or anything. im hoping is stays and doesnt shoot off when i turn on my heat.
