Default head porting suggestion

So I'm kind of disappointed with the lack of gitty up in the truck after getting the tune straightened out. I have a lq4 with 243 heads milled .035, tsp 228 on 112, tbss intake 90mm dbc tb, eBay long tubes, no cats, hacked factory 2 3/4 exhaust dumped at the tire with a single chamber flow master. 4.10 gears, i6 trailblazer converter.
I'm just not really that impressed with it. Don't get me wrong, it runs good, but I want more. Feels like about a 14 second flat car to me. It will smoke the 265's through first and second up to about 60ish, from a 10 roll, but it is the 50-100 I'm not really impressed with.
I'm getting 3.5" single exit exhaust ordered next week, so outside of that, the only thing I can think of that could be holding me back is the heads?
Opinions?
Thanks guys. And the truck is ecsb 2000 m/y rwd

243/799 heads are good for up to .600 lift as is. Tb converter is small for that cam, would prefer at least 3200 stall...and that exhaust got to be choking it.

I got an exhaust set up that is ideal for a 6.0 or 6.2. If interested, i can text you pics.

90mm you think is to small? Shoot, I thought it was huge when I got rid of that 78 last week! Lol. The converter isn't as bad as you would think, seeing as how there is no such thing as traction down low as it is, but it really flashes around 3k in my truck, drives like stock otherwise.
I think these eBay headers are hurting me as well, as they only look like they have about a 2.75" collector on them.

I stated i thought tb (meaning Trailblazer) converter too small for that cam, or not ideal. While it may stall okay, consider its diameter size being a rotational heavy weight not helping. As for the headers, hopefully they are 1 3/4 primaries and collectors will be either 2.5 or 3. If 2 5, may be able to open up at muffler shop to 3. Otherwise, mod collector with bigger ones or sell, and bigger long tubes. Exhaust should be at least single 3.5 or 4, or dual 2.5 or 3 for a modded 6.0, otherwise choking.

What you are feeling is the inefficiency of the convertor up top. Get a real convertor and try again.

I remember reading something about the TB bigger doesn't mean better i think you gonna be better with a ls6 intake with a ported TB for the ls6 don't quote me.on the one how much hp u making.
For the cam.i will go with a 3200-3400 rpm i have a tr220 and a 3200 is perfect for this cam for yours i little bigger or 3200 should be ok,, just my 2 cents

Ebay headers i got a pacesetter 1-3\4 or 1-7/8 with 3" collector im running dual 3" pipe, stock cats with 3 " pipe,,x pipe and a 18" magnaflow for better flowing gonna get high flow cats

So should I go with a smaller converter? I went the cheap route initially, as I got the converter for $110 from AutoZone. I agree, a higher stalling converter would help out of the hole, but how does this particular converter hurt, or become inefficient at higher rpm?

Agreed. That cam needs more converter. I would recommend at least a 3000 Stall. Give us a call and we can get you into a good converter for $400.

Get a CircleD 2A (high-performance 3200). You'll like it.
