I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not but I'm trying to do this on a budget. I will only be allowing myself to spend 5k because I want this to be done by next year and I don't want to waist all my money on this project. I have other expensive hobbies other than this as well. So with that said. N/A is what type of motor I'm going for. No NO2 or boost. So is it possible for me to get 350 to the wheels with a good cam ad milled heads and the bolt ons? Also what about new spark plugs and wires?

Advanced Induction - LSX Cylinder Heads my choice, but that's just me!

I wouldn't concern yourself with plugs and wires.

Stock range NGK plugs and Stock Wires are fine. My personal experience and many others is that MSD, etc. wires are a waste of money and usually of lower quality than the OEM wires.

I am also surprised to see so many saying to do the trunion upgrade. There are a ton of people making crazy power for tons of miles on stock rockers. I personally never had any issues on my boosted 130k mile setup.

A good friend of mine made 700+ WHP for 10s of thousands of miles and his car is now being driven by another owner and still has no issues.

Pretty sure its a risk vs cost discussion... if you can greatly reduce the risk at a relatively low cost, then why not?

I could not agree more with this. Like I said in the original post I want this reliable. I would rather spend my money to build it right and make it last then just throw some sketchy motor together that will only last 20k miles

I could understand that entirely.

I just personally have never seen a rocker failure in these engines. They may be more common then I realize. I know for a period of time Comp was having issues with their trunion upgrade kits, obviously that has been resolved by now as I no longer see reports of it.

So I called a local shop and he said he will mill my heads .030 for 130$ so that's not to bad. And do I have to worry about anything hitting when I take that much off the heads?

You should be fine milling that much. It will depend on your cam lift also. Decide on your cam first and then build around it, such as your springs and pushrods.

I'm planning of getting the "The Trucker" cam from vinci performance. It has the following specs and has a power range of 1800-6400rpm

DUR @ .004" 278*/ 286*
DUR @ .050" 216*/ 224*
LIFT .551/.551
LSA 115*
