Default fuel injectors and fuel

I have a 2002 RCSB with 5.3, mild cam, headers, 2800 stall, CAI, and a tune. Now my stock injectors are running a 100% duty cycle. What injector would you recommend? About the only other thing I want to do is feed it E85. Would stock E85 injectors out of a flex fuel do the trick or should I get something bigger? Will a stock E85 fuel pump send enough gas when the time comes (I know the stock one won't)?

Trying to do this on a budget. Thanks for your comments

Why do you want to run e85? You wont see much benefit at all on an NA basically stock engine.

E85 injectors and pump should be a good bump for you. May want to use a walbro 255 for the pump though, not sure how it compares to the e85 factory one.

Hmm...I was told that I can add a few degrees of timing to my tune and get probably 30 HP just off the change in fuel (which is cheap $/hp). If that is not the case, educate me now.

You wont gain much going e85 especially on a 9.5cr motor

Be cheaper to add a cam imho

OK,so I picked up a set of used FF injectors. More questions:

Will these work with my stock fuel rails (they look like they will)?

I believe these are referred to as LS 2 injectors. I know I need an adapter for my wire harness. This one fits the description, but it sure doesn't look right. Will it adapt my standard wire harness to the FF injector?

Just curious. What is the part number on your flex fuel injectors?

I thought flexfuel injectors were shorter compared to gas injectors? As far as gains expect about 15 hp with e85 and gas mileage to drop about 2 mpg. I have a flexfuel truck so I'm going off of my truck. The flexfuel pump is bigger and supports about 500 flywheel hp on gas. Injectors max out about 400 on gas. I typically fill up at a 1/4 tank on e85 then about 1/2 tank I top off with 91 with no loss of power but gain back a little gas mileage. There would be bigger gains if the compression is higher. Is it worth converting? IMO no, but upgrading pump and injectors would be your best bet. Would give you some room if you swap cams but also my 2 cents would just to go ahead and drop 42# injectors in it and add a cam
