Can I still run pump gas (93 octane) with 11.6 compression on my 408?

Ask your tuner. I run 93 just fine with my 383. it has 11.4/8.5 SCR/DCR.

What intake manifold are you using with the 408?

Your head's cam combo don't sounds to bad to me, I don't thing the cam is too big I'd just tighten the LSA up to a 110 and put 5 degrees advance in it and shift at 6300-6500

Sense this is going to be my daily driver and once in a blue moon at the track. and I want to run pump gas (93 octane) I think I'm going to run the AFR 230 with 72cc combustion chambers. That will keep me at 11.1 -11.3 cc and that's with a 0.51 head gasket.

Its ALIVE. !!! Damn this 408 has power everywhere. Have a few things I need to fix (power steering pump and a vibration in the rear) that will be next wknd. Then a dyno tune. Its taken a lot of time and money and it was worth every penny.I'll let yall know the dyno #'s in a few weeks.
