Looks much better than when it left. Sorry, didn't see your message until I woke up and left for work. So did your help ever show up?

That is my next on the list. I changed oil and it looked brand new no metal in it.. I also think I missed a ground.. I thought my battery was drained from sitting for a while but it checked out fine so I bought a new one anyways. when I go to start it the starter sounds like it can't catch up or is lacking to power it needs. any thoughts on this problem too? I was able to find out I'm getting oil to the push rods. can the 5.3 to 6.0 tune swap make something off? I know my tune from the 60 to 80e made my fuel gauge work backwards until my tuner did something.

I'm lost.

A bad ground can lead to weak or non starting. I had this issue way back in 08. Turned out to be a loose ground cable to the engine block off the battery.
