Dude if you think draining 1/2 a quart made a difference, try what I did, and drain 5 quarts out!! It gives like 20 horsepower!!! JUST KIDDING. Yeah it is really easy 15mm drain plug, you don't even need a wrench for the filter unless the quickie place put it on hella tight. I would have to recommend a synthetic oil like Mobil 1. You can save 10 bucks by doing it yourself and you can put that money toward a much better oil. Why the heck would they go to the little LS1 filter? Must be cutting costs or something.

yea you dont even need oil. just drain it all and put some prolong in. remember those realistic commercials? <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
