tranny problem
ok guys it feels like it slips but it still shifts
it olny does it when you only give alittle gas but when you floor it it shifts fine anyone have a clue

Hey 03red5.3 your truck is a 2003 right? You have an auto transmission right?
I have a 2003 with the Auto tranny, 5.3L, and a rear locking diff. I dont think I have noticed this problem though. I think it may just be the way the tranny works while it is waiting to shift.
Hey crazyidiot4.8 you said there was a recall on the auto tranny's? What year is your truck? Do you know if the 2003's are part of that recall?

kind of a shudder or shake feeling? i get that. if thats what yur talking about there is a recall out to fix it. i just haven't gotten mine back to the dealer yet. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> anybody know if that little shudder/shake is gunna cause anything other than a headache? it won't break anything will it?
