Default Well... replaced water pump but... no longer have a fan on the truck

So I installed a new water pump, hopefully correcting the crazy leaks i keep getting. Now here's the problem. I tried to remove the clutch fan while the old pump was still on the truck. Tried using a super tight cargo belt to keep the pulley from rotating, that was a complete joke. Then I proceeded to use a clutch fan removal kit but it required bolts on the pulley to get a grip. Now, the only bolts i could bolt on to that pulley through those small holes were too small and kept breaking. I tried blocking the pulley with a coat hanger through the holes, but no luck either.

The new pump is now installed, and my old pump is in the basement with the clutch fan still attached. I'm not too concerned for now because it's winter here and a fan shouldn't be necessary for the next couple of months.

Any suggestions on how to remove these things? Or am i pretty screwed and should get a new one?

Heat, PB Blaster or Seafoam Deep Creep...check thread pitch to make sure its not left handed threads.

should have gotten it off while the pump was still on the engine. leave the belt on, find the correct size open-end or crescent and hit the wrench with a hammer until that big nut breaks loose and it will come right off

put it in a vise and hit it with an air hammer/chisel. That should get it, like said above I would soak it in some PB Blaster or deep creep.

It is normal threads, use an air hammer, hold the pulley, and let her rip. It should not take much to bust it loose...

That's what I did, and I stuffed a towel into the pulley to keep it stationary. Then I took baseball swings at the crescent with the hammer
