Default Edelbrock pro flo xt on 07 classic 4.8

So i know the throttle body mounts are different so are the 2010ish-13 throttle body bolt patterns the same as 4 bolt ls2&3... If so would they use the same dbw plug as my gen3? I just figured it would be easier to get a truck tb than have an adapter machined and cheaper than buying an ls3 tb...???
Anyone got thoughts on this???

Gen IV motors have a 4 bolt pattern so yes ls2/3 and 07+ truck motor TB will switch out. Making them work is something else. If you use a gen 4 tb on your gen 3 motor your going to need a X Link module to make the pcm understand the newer (gen4) throttle body, and no the connectors are different for 4 bolt and 3 bolt throttle bodies.
