Also if anyone could reccomend some hardened pushrods and lifter im trying to get everything I need this week

Do I need to run new lifters I've been reading some threads where it says no and some say yes the truck has 62k

Kinda piggybacking off of this guys . . .

I have a 5.3 and I also have the G80 and 3.73 gears if I'm not mistaken. Assuming this is all true, would a 222-224/2-3xx cam and a 2800-3200 stall be a good upgrade? Just getting input for the project.

Likely not enough converter for that cam in a 5.3. it'll still be kind of doggy down low compared to a slightly smaller cam and slightly looser converter.
