Default Does this set up work well together cam, stall ,gears

I recently picked up a 2004 4.8 silverado Rwd. I wanted to do a cam and stall set up. I have long tubes w/ ory,k&n intake ,4.11 gears and a handheld tuner that will be replaced with a custom tune.

My question is will a 210/216 w/112 lsa with some medium low lift work well with a 2800 stall with the rest of my mods ? Any help comments advice is appreciated

I would say that would work very well for a daily driven truck. If you wanted to go a bit more aggressive, since you have 4.11 gears, you could up the stall closer to 3200 and maybe go with a 212/218 cam or the like. Otherwise I think the combo looks good!

Thanks for the info man 👍 im really looking for some low end grunt but some nice gains on top end if that's possible. I wanted to go with a cam somewhere in the middle of the 206/212 and the 212/218. any other power mods you would recommend?

Without really getting into it a cam is as far as you will want to go.

Beyond that stuff is expensive. That said, boost would Rock your world...

That kinda leads me to my next question I've seen a lot of really good deals on f/I kits on here but if I wanted to go that route would my cam specs change and would the 4.11s make my 1st gear pretty much useless?

First gear will most likely be useless even with the cam and 4.11's let alone boost.

As for camshafts there are a few threads floating around about ruined lobes on Comps. You could look at ISKY as an alternative. Not sure what other name brands everyone is using.

Fti makes a good quality stall from the reviews I have seen floating around. I think your suggested setup is very mild and conservative. What size tires do you have? If it's smaller than 28" it will make 1st gear very short. I am pretty sure you won't have any issues losing bottomed size you should be turning decent Rpms with those gears. I wouldn't have any second thoughts about going more aggressive on the cam specs. Anything around a 3000 stall will feel really good in a daily. I see no reason for not creeping up to a 212/218 or 215/220. Fi wise I wouldn't worry too much. As the old saying goes if it makes power NA it will make power boosted. Being so mild you shouldn't have any big concerns about cam selection as far as boost goes.
