I cured my resonance problem : 4" down pipe to a 4" in/out 36" long Magnaflow ,4" by dual 3" Y with dual 3" mandrel pieced tail pipes.

I had a crewcab with exhaust and i deadened my whole back wall, and filled both my rear pillars with foam and i noticed NO difference in exhaust at all. Good luck
How would it be impractical? The idea of making your cab sound proof and getting rid of all the cheap rattles the chevys have is pretty appealing to many people. You can usually get the foam for under $200 and depending on what kind of sound deadener you use you can deaden the whole cab and lay down foam for around $500 or less depending how much you choose to do.

So no resination at all with that setup humm...? That's the same muffler I have. I could probable build some thing like that for not to much money if i knew it was gona work. I like the looks of that too. Very similar to mine only with 3" and duels.

I had the stock slanted side Dmax exit on the truck for a while right after I got this cat back and it had the same resination as it has now. I was hoping the rear exit turn down would fix it, but it didn't change it.
