Default DBW changed to Cable?

Can the 03+ DBW trucks be converted to cable pretty easily? Say I get a tbss intake and a reg 90mm cable driven TB, what else will I need to make it work? Say an 02 pedal, cable, and a tune adjustment?

Don't quote me on this but you need an ecu that supports that. The 03 Chevy vans had the bastard setup to where the ecu could use dbw or drive by cable. But yes, I say pedal cable and bracket

Yeah, not all computers support that change. The IAC drivers or something like that need to be in the computer for it to work.

The only other option is you can go with a LS3 throttle body and an X-link. The TB is dirt cheap on Amazon but the X-link is not. How much is it going to cost you to convert? Probably 400 to do the LS3 route.

Pretty sure 04 models have a 411 pcm which should be the same as lots of cable driving vehicles??

Nope 03-07 classic trucks use a 1MB PCM. Only the Vans had a cable option in those years. Grab a PCM from there.

99-02 used the 411 style PCM which was 512KB and does not interchange with the later years.
