Default CTS-V Blower?

Anybody install one of these on his truck? I'm rolling ideas around for my '11 4.8 Silverado without spending a mint.

If anyone's done this, I'd love to see it.

Search "LSA swap" in the search bar and you'll find a few threads on it. Couple guys have done it on their NBS trucks and few newer ones too. Only a few have pictures though, lots of info on what parts to get though or what could be used anyway.

That ain't hijacking as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to have this info.

I either don't know how to use the search function adequately; or just can't find an appropriate thread.

I'm interested in trying to fit a blower to my '11 Silverado with 4.8. But right now I can't handle the idea of spending the kind of cash it takes to get a Whipple or the like. My Gawd, they're expensive. I used to think the old 6-71 Weiand blowers were big bucks at $2500.....

Somewhere I read that the Caddy blowers won't work with the newer style cathedral type intake ports. Anyone know if this is accurate?

It will, you just need adapters or to swap the heads. And Wolf, yes there is a list. Look at the 2005 rst lsa charger thread

Put it on the Yukon, your Silverado already had enough power atm.
