mother ******...well after being off for over 24 hours, the light came back on same thing. I dont know what the **** is wrong. i changed the fuel filter and put in some additives to get it to go off, god knows the filter isnt bad... I checked for leaks around my intake manifold and that is all good. this **** is just stressing me out. Anymore ideas?
I think maybe i had ALOT of water in my gas, and the new fuel filter made it run good for a little bit, now the new filter is saturated with water as well? so the light is back on?
what do yall think?

Mine did the same thing when I ran E-85 fuel in it. It popped the code so I babied it for a couple days then filled up again with 93 reset codes and never again..... good luck man

this **** is so annoying..i hate having my light on.
could i have a bad o2 sensor, maf sensor, or fuel pump and have it not spit a code?
if i had water in my gas, will that water ruin a fuel filter? I changed filters and it went off, but im worried i still had water in my tank and it ruined my new filter too.

Fuel pump Yes... the others usually generate a code for there specific fault. The pump how ever usually has no warning. the only indication is usually a faulty sending unit.... but I have seen them last as long as 6 mo to a year after that starts poping up. I forgot did you check the fuel pressure under idle and again at reving it up???

LOL... ya I think most of the ones I have replaced they were having trouble for around a year possibly longer. I don't keep specific track of each one. My pump started going at 100K my sending unit started acting up about 6 mo. or so before that. I do alot of short trip driving though... Buddies died at around 120k . I know I did one in a truck recently that went out around 186K and suburban or tahoe that was some were between 200-220k but he did alot of highway driving...
