Default cat removal

I have an 01 with 105k on it and was wondering about cutting my cats off and running just the corsa sport. Im not worried about how loud. I will be having my tune sone and could have them tuned out anyway. Would I benefit anything? I have stock manifolds

If you are stock aside from the exhaust then no, there is no benefit. Unless they are broken or plugged up. It will just make the exhaust raspier, louder, and smell.

I've seen 10-15 hp gains on stock trucks removing the cats. With no inspections it gets done a lot around here. It also allows you to turn off COT in the tune.
