mine sounds like a sowing machine... but everything ive read up on says its normal...

but while cruzing 30ish mph and higher i dont hear it much... only idle and slow speeds...

i know up around the heads its leakin cause i could only get 4 bolts in there cause who ever had my truck before me must of broken the others or they broke over time... i might just throw a extra gasket on that side or some rtv...

That leak could wreak havoc on your o2 sensor...making you run rich which can cause several problems over time. I had the same problem.

Absolutely, un-metered air can enter the exhaust through suction and throw the O2 sensor readings way off. I'd fix that ASAP. I remember your thread from when you intalled your LT's.

you can swing it by my shop, and we could put it on a lift and look for leaks if you want to. or you and corey could come out and use the lift and weld in the v bands. they will work better to seal and look better than ball joint exaust will. open invite.

the only time I actually enjoy driving my truck with the cutout closed is when my windows are up and the radio is on kinda low. Then it actually sounds ok because I can't hear that annoying header sound.

V-bands or bust.

headers sound like ****. How many times have I said that. There's no way around the thin steel of headers. There is a reason stock manifolds are very thick iron.
