Default cam experts, need advice

I have 2002 gmc sierra ext cab 2wd with a lq4 block .030 over
flat top pistons, 317 heads shaved .010 with aprrox 10.3 compression
tbss intake, nick Williams cable 92mm throttle body and pacesetter 1-3/4 full length headers, offroad ypipe and 3" mandrel exhaust through magnaflow all the way out back.
camshaft is an eps
222/226 .598 .605 112+4 love the cam

it put down 378hp and 392tq to the tires

then 2 weeks ago upgraded to
texas speed 243 cnc'd bigger valve heads and shaved to achieve aprrox 11.3 compression
sent intake to peak speed shop for radical porting
also bought speed engineering 1-7/8 headers
and of course good springs with titanium retainers

took back to same dyno and
only put down 395hp and 382tq

so lost torque and only gained 17 more rwh over before.

so my question is do you all think that the cam is holding me back from the mods I made?

What RPM did you peak at? Those are pretty dismal gains for those mods.

You could definitely afford a larger cam with those mods.

peaked at 5900 and dropped of at 6200.
dont know if the headers killed it or cam doesnt work with the new stuff.

Hi guys I'm new to the forum thing but thought I'd give it a try . I have a question about my 06 Silverado . It has a 5.3 in it an I want to put a good all around cam in it and other mods to match such as valve springs . The cams I am looking to use is the TS228r or the Tick SNS STAGE 2. My question is will my factory rocker arm work with a duel valve spring without destroying the rockers

Now I know I will get bashed here but IMO your headers are wrong for an engine making under 550 hp at the crank. Anytime you go larger primaries/collectors you are going to trade torque for HP aka your torque curve is going to translate up in the rpm range.

Go 1 7/8", and OP your headers aren't too large. Let's just go ahead and cross that right off the list.

Mkre cam would show you greater gains for sure. You want something that will rev a tad higher than that. Even keeping the same LSA and ICL you could add 4* to each with great results. Instead of peaking at 5900 or would likely peak at 6200 and feel great shifting at 6400-6500. That will give the heads more time to shine.

I would want to look at the tune to see if you're getting as much timing out of the new combo. With the larger headers you can lilely afford more down low.

Single 3" exhaust would strangle a 6.0 right?

I am wondering if you are running out of fuel up top. What is your IDC and how's your fuel pressure look?
