2006 silverado crew cab 2wd I only pull a ski boat to the lake has 5.3 basic bolt ons

Yes, way to big.

You'd need so much other stuff to even want to make that cam work. Sell it and get yourself a more daily friendly cam in the 212/218ish range if you don't want to upgrade the stall converter.

Its not too big if you want make all your power at 6500rpm+. Wont be good for towing by any stretch. Would need 3400ish stall, springs, and pushrods to make it worthwhile.

In a 5.3 with stock heads that cam wouldn't peak till 7200 plus.

Would make for a decent rect port head 402-416ci NA cam.

Too big for my engine. My cam in sig peaks at 5800 rpm NA, that's high enough.
