Cam bearing question.

Default Cam bearing question.

If a cam bearing spins out of center a little bit is the block toast? Long story but they were installed incorrectly when replaced and I didn't catch it before building the motor and it moved out of center enough for the lifter to punch a half circle in it. It's a aluminum l33.
