Not when you look at the choices I was given by my go-to mechanic (not the same guy I wait on to go to....) and then look at some one like TSP or the likes.

My go-to mechanic wanted to sell me a 320hp 5.3 for the same money that I spent on the 370 and of course TSP is a lot more.

Sure, I could have pieced together a 383 or 408 via a shortblock then buy my heads/cam/etc but would have spent more money.

Yea, there are a lot of ways you could have done it, im just saying for that money I would at least want forged pistons and arp hardware.
