best way to clean O2 sensor?

Default best way to clean O2 sensor?

well i figured out whats going on with my truck and the headers, but now i need to clean my 02s because they are freakin filthy.

is there some sort of cleaning agent for this, or do i just wipe er down with a good old terry rag?

Wiping the outside of the tip will do nothing, thats just a cover for the sensor underneath. Sometimes you can clean them using a propane torch by heating the tip red hot for a few seconds. Doesn't always work though. Sometimes they just need to be replaced if they are going bad from having an excessively rich mixture.
