Keep us updated on how it goes. You should see a night and day difference, everyone I have spoken to has. Over on the LS1 Tech forum a member just did a chassis dyno showing the power figures as well, swapped into a Trans Am.
Make sure not to just let the engine sit there and idle as well, this is the worse thing you can do on a new engine. Build up some RPM's to expand/seat the rings.

nothing just a stock 02 GMC 2500HD with 6.0 (AKA white trash Cadillac).. Now the upgrades are ATK HP93 6.0 rated at 460 HP (with the right setup) so after getting it in now I have hollowed out the cats added Dynomax VT mufflers and upgraded injectors out of an 08 model 31lb. I drove it last night with the new exhaust and at first it sounded good then started making all kinds of noise? I took the tail piped off because it sounded like it was coming from the mufflers and on one of the mufflers had packing hanging out of it (a foot of fiberglass braid hanging out) WTF they are a day old!
