That's no joke. I tuned a big cam c6z recently and we lost 63hp going from straight through to chambered mufflers. I didn't think it would be quite that bad.

I meant to say that with you at 12 psi and a 408 you def need bigger pipes .

Time to start a camaro exhaust thread . Lucky you they make 2" headers for your car , start there and shitcan everything else on it .

But actually you have good sized headers to start with , id get the rest straightened out for sure , then see where your at , and how much boost you will run after you get your exhaust flowing well , if your gonna run 18+ then id sure as hell want as big as i could get on there , why chance restricting it , if you want all out power you need all out flow.

Im not fooling around, this is last time im doing my exhaust , ive got bigger and badder stuff coming down the road .

Yep ,and i said that above about the flowmasters being a restriction , glad others see that . Thats really crazy to lose that kind of power , but ive seen results of losses before with chambered mufflers, they sound good but thats it, worthless for horsepower and flow .

Yeah it definitely sounded gnarly. Up to you if you want more power or to sacrifice some bite for some extra bark This is with the chambered mufflers

This guy swapped back to magnaflows... If it was only 10hp on a motor car it wouldn't be a big deal, but he lost over 10% hp just from mufflers...pretty bad.
