Default Anyone use the BTR Stage 1 Truck cam?

Curious if anyone is using this cam? I just ordered one for my DD Tahoe. It will be an LQ9, longtube headers, CAI and of course tune and that's it. More than likely plan on running a stock stall converter.

I had a similar cam in my old truck, LQ4 with a TPiS ZL10. Was mostly stock - just a cam, tune, muffler, airraid MIT. Worked fine with the stock TC and 3.73s. I'm sure it would have woke up with headers and a better exhaust system. The truck was totalled before I could make anymore changes.

I will be installing the same engine into the replacement truck, but making a lot of changes... EPS cam, LTs, bigger exhaust, 4.10s, etc.

running BTR Stage 3 Truck Cam with stock stall convertor, no headers, runs fine.
The tune is very important. Will add headers & stall later.

Personally you should have went bigger, if you ever did a cam swap you almost always wish you would only of went bigger. I am putting a 6.2/ 4l80e in my nbs denali with a 3400 stall. It's getting a btr stage 4 ls3 cam which is massive. I would go with there stage 2/3 if you still have time to change it.
