The owner of Wynjammer says he is getting 6 psi on his 383 with the smaller unit. So, it should be fine on a 6.0.

Al told me it would run the 8 psi boost easily on my 6.0 with no problems.

I have been running a Wynjammer blower in my 2002 2500HD 6.0 for 3 years. Not a single problem. Actually, there is nothing there to go wrong. Only one moving part. And whatever is in that special bearing seems to hold up.

I get about 6psi under full load. This is with the older serpentine belt system. The blower does run allot cooler than Paxtons or Vortech blowers, both of which, I have used (Never tried ATI/Powerdyne). It seems allot of he heat in the other centrifugal blower comes from the internal step-up gears/belts/*****. On the Wynjammer, this is and external belt; which dissapates that heat. Neat system. One of those "why didn't I think of that?" things.

The discharge air from the Wynjammer is definatly cooler than the Paxton or Vortech when non-intercooled.

I can drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Pull over, open the hood, and grab the blower housing, and still keep al the skin on my fingers.

It makes a huge difference pulling my car carrier trailer up the grapevine. ( long uphill pull ).

I'll be upgrading to the new cog-drive 8psi pulleys this week. We'll see how that goes. Maybe while I'm at it, I'll set up a few thermocouples and get some real temperature-vs-boost data.
