My rollmaster adjustable timing set already comes with oil pump spacers and I've read in a handful of places that the 296 oil pump might require grinding as well as the timing cover to fit it all together so I figured that would apply to 295 pump as well.

Trial & Error is always an option, but would rather not waste money ya know? haha
If anyone has literally used a double roller timing set, stock timing cover, and this tensioner kit, with stock or Melling oil pump, on an LM7, I'd appreciate the input.

My LM7 doesnt at least, from 01 tahoe.
If you go to summit website and click on download instructions or something similar, it shows you how to install it and torque spec for bolts and how to install it where.
It looks like the adapter goes on the outside of the cam thrust plate and replaces 3 of the 4 cam thrust plate bolts, then the factory plastic tensioner is pressed onto the adapter as it states in the instructions.

I'm just trying to figure out if double row chain set will still work with this, I ordered it anyways, I'll post once I find out.
