Default 99 Sub 5.3 - FAST LSXRT 102 : Injectors question

My friend is currently installing his new Fast Intake Manifold LSXRT 102 with a Nick Williams 92 TB on this H/C Suburban 5.3.

He told me his injectors doesn't fit (EV1 LS1 style Injectors). (the injector hole on the intake )is too small).
So I've send him my Ford Red Devil #36 injectors (SVO #30).
He's just phoned me : they didn't fit !
I was reading the Fast Web Site : they say that the stock injectors fit but they Requires injector lower o-ring swap when using OEM injectors (included with manifold).

What's that means exactly ? My friend need to modify the injector ?

Need help !

no it just means he needs to swap the lower o ring out for a thinner one... The kit should include the smaller ones just change the factory ones out for the ones in the kit and they should fit

Here are the pix !
The Intake hole is 11mm, the injector is 13mm

Here is problem : The littler hole is 11mm (from under), the injector (with or without the o-ring) didn't fit ! (as the injector bottom is 13mm)

Any idea?

odd , can you find anyone with the same manifold? most injectors that any lsx uses are the same size. i wonder if the injector holes didnt get finished.

those do look like they are in far enough though maybe you just need a larger o ring to make them fit . do you have a pic of the bottom of the intake with the injector in place?

more pix.

Stock intake with stock injectors:

Fast LSXRT and stock injectors: (is the normal that the injector is sooooo far from the bottom of the intake)
The inner hole is too tight, the injector doesn't fit

Good question?I am doing this on my Lq4.Manifold is on,I am having to adjust the brackets a touch
I am running my stock rails with brand new multech II flow matched injectors.
Hopefully I did not spend 500.00 on these injectors for them not to fit.LOL Damn.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I'm running into the same issue. Did you need to adjust the tune for the ls2 injectors or do they swap right in?

Swapping in different injectors require a retune.
