Angry 6.0L Block, LS3 heads- ARP head bolts too short

Has anyone encountered this problem? I have a iron Lq9 block that I am putting ls3 l92 heads on. I bought the heads new from Jeggs along with ARP head bolts and gaskets. I am putting the heads on now and on the bottom row of bolts for the head the bolts wont reach the threads... Has anyone encountered this? What did you do?

Post the ARP part number, and make sure it matches what you ordered.

Do you recall ordering pre or post 04 bolts?

There should only be 2 numbers. Pre 04 and post 04. Only the LS9 has different bolts than the rest of us.

What year LQ9? For 04+ you should have ARP 234-4317...

04 could have short or long. Dealer should be able to tell you by seq #.
