6.0 Vortec starter interchange with 4.8
The wire from the solenoid to the starter motor rotted off on my 4.8, 2004 Silverado 1500 4x4....I can pickup a starter off a 6.0 Vortec 2005 Silverado 2500 4x4(brand new in box cheap)....Question is will the 6.0 starter which looks only a 1" longer work on my 4.8 with no issues??
