Default 5.3L redline and rev limit

I know this question has been posted a few times before and yes I have done a search on this subject BUT I am still curious to see what most people are running.

SO for those using tuners on their 5.3L's (HPP3, predator, ls1edit) what are you all setting your redline/revlimits to?

I shift 6200 with limiter at 6400. I do have a cam and valvetrain that pulls hard through 6200.

Sounds nice!

So what cam are you running? Did you replace your springs and pushrods?

Its the little 01 LS6 cam and 01 LS6 springs, but am running stock pushrods and retainers. It made no difference in my low end rpm power, but after 2500, it pulls much harder and longer. If I had it to do over again, I'd go bigger. I have had it in for over a year and a half.

I would LOVE to get a cam like that or a bigger one in my 03 but I just dont want to void the warranty. I have had the truck for 8 months and I am dying to start some real engine mods.

What are the odds of something breaking, going wrong, etc. on my 5.3L? What about after a cam install?

If you could do it over again what cam would you install?

If the LS6 cam helps that much without hurting the low end, then I would think the LS1 cam would help a little without hurting the low end as well. What do you think Bigtex? I ask because I know a guy selling one for $25. And I wouldn't have to change springs or anything I think.
