5.3 Oil Pump Problems
Hey guys I just picked up a 18,000 mile 5.3L out of a 99 Silverado. I seem to remember the early 5.3's having oil pressure problems. Is this correct or am I just nuts? I want to replace the oil pump before dropping the engine if thats the case

i dont think it is a certain year, its kind of hit and miss.. i wouldnt go messing with it unless your already in there, like for instance changing cam etc.... even then i dunno if id mess with it...
