Default which oem cats flow better

Need to pass smog . I have my y-pipe from my 99 with 160k before I went to my current no cat setup. Derek has his y-pipe from an 05. I know his cats are prolly in better condition than mine but all variables set aside, would his year prolly flow better?... mine were a lighter piece but I would have to put on all new o2 bungs(mine stipped out)
