408/T56 11's possible?
I've been saving up, I'm getting ready to buy my block and trans and start building. I want something I can drive on the street and run as fast as possible without a cage on the track. I know the T56 is gonna make this much more expensive but more friendly on the street. So here's the plan so far
Iron 408 short block
Spec'd 24X/24X cam
Gmp CNC ls3 heads
Ls3 intake
Lt's
Viper spec t56 rebuild
Built 10 bolt
4:56 gear
295/65r15 DR's
Shooting for 11:1 compression, pump gas 500 rwhp
Anybody think this is possible? I'd like to stay away from FI if possible but any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to build this thing 5 times just to get it right so I'd like to start building on the right foot.

If I'm gonna swap the rear I might as well relocate the leafs and mount up some 390/40r17's then I could fit the Z71 Burban calipers. Might have to shorten the rear a bit, mini tub the bed, and mount a fuel cell...

I put a 14 bolt in mine from a 05 vortex max it bolted right in. drum brakes though. I don't mind it gets rid of those f'n e-brakes in the rotors. had to shorten the drive shaft and change rear yolk and ujoint and lengthen the e-brake cable some.
