Check out this thread - https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...8-dyno-444886/ - btw, this is not my build

Granted that's on a mustang dyno - but you should be close to 450whp. I wouldn't be surprised if you were a little lower. That cam is a little small and the stock manifold will hold you back - you'd probably gain 30-40whp changing those out.

You will definitely have a torquer tho and that will get you moving that's for sure.

Yeah, I know they're holding me back. Between machine work and parts I'll be near 4k. At this point I just need to get the truck back together and going. Later on down the road I plan on switching to the lsx truck intake and bigger throttle body and I'll go ahead and switch cam and tourqe converter out. I would do that now but you're talking another 2-3k lol.... One day

Yup I hear ya - its an expensive hobby. Just didn't want you to go in thinking one thing and getting another - 40-50hp is a lot to be down from where you think you should be and could make you think something is wrong. - thats the boat I'm in right now with my truck only putting down 430whp. I feel I should be closer to that 500whp mark and I'm not even close - LOL Makes me think I'm down a cylinder or something else is wrong.
