im doing my own exhaust and i want to use ball flanges, but i cant find any that are 3 inches and in stainless steel. does anyone know where i can get some.

also, am i retarded for using ball flanges, should i use a different type of flange? if so what kind, and i need them in stainless steel.

Dont know about finding stainless but I think thoses flanges should be on all headers.Having a little bit a give allows for long leak free life unlike the normal gaskets

yeah thats why i want the ball style flanges or socket flanges or something like that. i just wanted to double check to make sure i am doing this right. and i agree they should be on all headers, this would make life a lil easier.

so anyone know where i can get some 3" flanges, are these even called ball flanges, let me know thanks.

I know Flowmaster makes 3" (and several other sizes) ball flanges, but I've never seen them in stainless (the ones Gonzo posted are not stainless). They're kinda expensive, even in the aluminized exhaust piping... For the money, I'd weld (or clamp) on the braided stainless flex connectors and have more movement...
